Organisers of this year’s VAC (Annual National Conference of Visitor Attractions), BALPAA, have confirmed VisitEngland’s Chairman will be speaking at the event.
Now in its 14th year, the Annual National Conference of Visitor Attractions (VAC) will take place on 4 October, and will feature key tourism bosses on the podium.
The event is organised by BALPAA, which represents the interests of the UK’s commercial leisure parks, piers, zoos, visitor attractions and family entertainment centres.
The society has welcomed owners and senior managers of attractions, as well as “opinion formers” and tourism professionals.
Taking place at the QEII Conference Centre in London, the event will feature sessions on the latest attractions, success stories of the past year, market insights, and UK tourism.
Paul Kelly, the chief executive of BALPPA said: “The conference programme promises to provide valuable insight into the latest market research, inspire [guests] through success stories from new, cutting-edge attractions, and provide [guests] with the latest trends and learnings from other like-minded businesses.”
The VAC exhibition will run throughout the event, allowing guests to meet with delegates and speakers. Denis Wormwell, the chairman of VisitEngland and Kurt Janson, the director of the Tourism Alliance, are amongst the number of speakers already confirmed.
Organisers are also offering sponsorship packages for operators to promote their company, and get their products and services on display to buyers at the event.
