The return of Doogah beach, which disappeared from Irish shores over 30 years ago, has been hailed as “enormously significant” by local tourism office.

An Irish community has found a beach that somehow went missing. It is reported that a storm washed the sandy shores of Dooagh away some 33 years ago but recent tidal movements have returned tons of sands and shells back to the coastal locale.

Such mysterious occurrences piqued the interest of locals and tourists alike as roads in the nearby villages found themselves gridlocked by a surge of visitors to the returned tourist destination.

The resurgences has been hailed as “enormously significant” by Sean Molloy of Achill Tourism, and who are we to argue?
