Praesepe’s Employee of the Year 2016 has been named as Rachel Farrell, venue manager at the company’s Weston-super-Mare FEC.

Rachel Farrell has been singled out from more than 1,600 colleagues to be crowned Praesepe ‘Employee of the Year – 2016’.  Rachel is the venue manager at Praesepe’s Family Entertainment Centre in Weston-super-Mare, where she has worked for the past six years.

She earned the award after helping to open a new Entertainment Centre in Largs, Scotland, 417 miles away, a long distance task which included training the new team and ordering equipment for the venue.

CEO, Nick Harding, commented: “Rachel is an invaluable member of our team and her great attitude and hard work deserves to be recognised. She went out of her way – quite literally – to make sure our new venue in Largs opened successfully. After she returned to her normal job in Weston–Super–Mare, she continued to provide telephone support to the team in Scotland to make sure everything continues to run smoothly.”

Nick added: “Rachel truly cares about our company, doing her very best to ensure the work she does enhances our excellent reputation and provides an enjoyable experience for the customers. She is vital to the organisation and we truly value her dedication and effort. It is employees like Rachel who make Praesepe the best team in UK gaming.”

Rachel was presented with £500 of high street vouchers, a special Employee of the Month badge and a certificate to mark her award, at a surprise ceremony at the Weston-super-Mare Golden Gate.
