Astrosystems touch base with the length and breadth of the industry at this year’s ICE Totally Gaming.
Although massive shows like ICE give smaller companies, such as cash handling experts Astrosystems, a chance to meet plenty of new potential customers, it equally functions as a chance to catch up with existing contacts.
The strength of this facet of the expo was brought into sharp relief as the company’s Debbie Malin enjoyed a welcome interruption while speaking to Coinslot: A customer arrived on the stand to tell her that Astrosystems had provided him with the best customer service he had ever experienced.
It’s a part of the company that Malin and her cohorts place plenty of emphasis on. “We are a small company in a market where we have some very large competitors,” she said, “but the advantage of being the smaller company is that we can be more personal, and we specialise in after-sales and customer support. We like to ensure that after the point that we sell the product, the relationship doesn’t end there and we feel that that’s enabled us to continue in this very competitive market.”
