As ever, there was plenty to choose from at the Astra stand this year, including the EAG debut of its Batman licence. Appearing in both gaming and redemption form, the caped crusader was the star attraction of a stand that also hosted an array of other titles.
Manufacturer Astra showcased a host of new games, covering categories B, C and D, with the latest TITO and promotional technology included. Cat C featured strongly, led by the reel-based three-player, Batman Begins. Joining the Dark Knight were Cat C video models Reel Hot £100, iBet 100 and iPub2.
The inimitable Batman licence also featured strikingly on Astra’s Cat D three-player, Batman Begins. Operators seeking out B3 games for their locations were presented with Magic Games Premium HD, Slotto 500 Platinum, VIP Magic Games and VIP Lounge.
Astra has also gone big on redemption for 2017 and offered a trio of exciting new models at the show. They comprised the three-player models Batman Begins Just The Ticket and Bullion Bar Just the Ticket, alongside Sweetz. These, and other innovations including the Illumi EOB and VIP Wall, were given an airing on an Astra stand where everything was geared up for full TITO compatibility.
Astra Games managing director Chris Butler commented: “We came into EAG 2017 with a wave of products that was simply stunning. Prior to the event we predicted that the Batman licence would create a real talking point among our customers and in three-player Cat C guise it proved to be the case – more than that it was a show stopper! And there was an encouraging response to our Magic Games Premium HD offering, a product that takes the gaming experience to a whole new level of entertainment. We now look forward to building on a very successful three days at EAG and a positively charged year ahead.”
