Sitting in the middle of one of the largest spreads of holiday parks in the UK, Skegness’ Fantasy Island has agreed a deal with Semnox Solutions to provide a cashless payment system to the theme park.

Semnox has announced a deal with Fantasy Island, Skegness to install its latest edge readers for the company’s cashless solution in over 500 arcade, video, redemption and gaming machines including several large outdoor rides and attractions.

In addition, handheld devices will be used as mobile deducting agents for customers making payments at rides on a pay as you go plan.

“Customer convenience has been our key to success and Semnox just had the right product to offer. Using their cashless system, we can give customers the convenience of using a single card to avail all facilities within the park. Fantasy Island is regarded as one of the biggest and popular holiday parks in the United Kingdom. Our operations are very unique keeping in mind the enhanced guest experience we strive to give our visitors. Semnox customised their products and services for a better customer experience whilst reducing our total cost of ownership for the cashless system,” said Edward Mellors, owner of Fantasy Island. ”The positive feedback that we have received from their client base in this region was another strong reason for us to choose them.”

As well as Semnox’s cashless technology helping customers pay for rides, the company’s multi window redemption module will be used for redeeming gifts at various redemption counters. At the same time, a next-gen integrated online E-Commerce module will be used for purchasing new cards, reloading and checking card transactions through the web.

“Semnox’s integrated cashless system addresses the ongoing need for large park operators to engage and stay connected with their customers and visitors that will strategically benefit their business and give a competitive edge,” said Umesh Prabhu, vice president of Semnox Solutions.”
