Agreement with Belgian manufacturer specifies both coin and note products from CPI.
Erron Factory bvba (Erron), a Belgium-based producer of electronic gaming machines, has signed a three-year preferred supplier agreement with Crane Payment Innovations (CPI), a Crane Co. Company.
Under the agreement, Erron will specify the SC Advance note acceptor on all new and existing games, while also transitioning to CPI as its default supplier for all coin-handling products.
“We’ve relied on CPI products on an ad hoc basis in the past, having always recognized their superior quality and performance,” said Patrick de Preter, owner and CEO of Erron.
“Now, after having received additional product training at their Buxtehude production facility, we can confidently say that their professional support is just as exceptional. It was therefore a logical choice to intensify our partnership with CPI. This agreement will not only allow us to enhance service to our customers, but it will also help Erron expand more rapidly into the Belgian and Dutch markets.”
The wide breadth of the CPI product portfolio allows OEMs like Erron to get reliable, high-performance coin and note products from a single supplier, thereby simplifying their sourcing strategy.
Taking advantage of this one-stop shopping for all of their payment needs frees up more time for OEMs to focus on growing their business.
In addition to SC Advance note acceptors, Erron will be purchasing the v2 colibri 3.5” coin acceptor, the space-saving h2 nano hopper and the large capacity Universal Hopper.
“We are very pleased that Erron has selected CPI as its default coin and note supplier for its European expansion plans,” said Marc Jongerius, CPI sales manager for Gaming. “By taking the time and energy to build this partnership, both of our businesses have gained a deep understanding of each other’s products and equipment, and I am excited CPI will be able to add value to Erron’s business for years to come.”
CPI is headquartered in Malvern, PA with additional offices, manufacturing facilities, distribution and service centers worldwide.
