Plans for an expansive leisure offering at a Leeds business park have been revealed this week.

A subset of the £400m expansion to the Thorpe Park in Leeds – not to be confused with the Surrey-based theme park of the same name – will include a multi-screen cinema, likely to be the project’s most friendly home for amusements.

The cinema will spread across 60,000 square feet, with the plans due to go before Leeds City Council’s planning committee next week. The development is the brainchild of Scarborough and Legal & General Capital, who began work on the project in August 2015.
