Sean Young, managing director of Wexel Gaming and Leisure Electronics, and his 22 year old daughter Emily, have completed Iron Man triathlon events raising £1,571.10 in aid of the Responsible Gambling Trust.

Young said: “We chose the Responsible Gambling Trust not just because it covers so many different sectors of the industry that I work in, but also because of the marvellous work it does in funding education, prevention and treatment of problems related to gambling. Our family has enjoyed a living through this business and it’s good to give back.”

“The Iron Man itself is not that difficult, it’s more the hours of training that goes into the race. On the day it’s just another rehearsal of what’s been done numerous times throughout the last few months.”

Young ran two races: Austria in June and France in August with Emily, which were composed of a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike, and a 26.2 mile run.

Young added “The Iron Man itself is not that difficult, it’s more the hours of training that goes into the race. On the day it’s just another rehearsal of what’s been done numerous times throughout the last few months.”
