With The Autumn Coin-Op Show a matter of weeks away, Organisers are expecting this year’s event to be particularly busy.

ACOS 2018 has attracted several new exhibitors and for the first time, an established conference, The Future of Immersive Leisure, will run alongside the show.

Now in its 5th year, the show’s attendee list reads like a ‘who’s who’ of the UK amusements and coin-op industries, with many also attending from other leisure sectors.

ACOS sits at the end of the summer season and prior to the large shows in the New Year; the perfect time for meeting-up with industry colleagues and catching first sight of new products showcased by manufacturers. Networking is an important component of any industry event and with a 100% focus on the UK, this is particularly true of ACOS, with organisers taking care to ensure that the show remains the perfect opportunity for comparing experiences and exchanging ideas in a relaxed and sociable setting.

Show Organiser Karen Cooke explains: “This year we’ve located the bar at the heart of the exhibition floor, with plenty of seating and space to relax. Food and hot drinks will also be available close-by so no valuable networking time will be lost.

“The show has traditionally hosted a networking reception and I’m delighted to confirm that this will take place at the end of the first day, immediately after show closes.

We’ve taken over the Albion Pub, located on Hammersmith Road right opposite Olympia. The Albion is a comfortable and traditional pub; perfect for continuing those show-floor conversations. Entry may be gained by showing an exhibitor or visitor badge and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone,” welcomed Karen.

‘Albion’ is an Old English poetic word meaning England or Britain; very appropriate for a show which has the UK market at its heart!
