The National Bingo Game Association has announced that it will be launching a new format of the ever popular National Bingo Game on 30 April.

The relaunch will be a 50 number game, rather than the existing 90 numbers, and offers players a club or venue prize on every game in every venue, as well as fixed odds Jackpot prizes of £100, £1,000 and £50,000. Based on anticipated ticket sales the National Bingo Game Association is expecting to create over 5,000 winners every week.
The new game format takes less time to complete and allows each participating venue to play the game at any time during the session: currently over 275 clubs and venues are signed up for the new game, including the sector’s two largest operators Gala and Mecca bingo.
“We are excited to be launching a new version of one of club bingo’s most well known and loved games. This will only be the third time in over thirty year’s that the game has had a substantial change: with this latest version of the game we wanted to bring it up to date, with a game that takes less time to play, finds its winners immediately and creates more of them,” commented Miles Baron, chief executive of the National Bingo Game Association.
“Changing to a 50 number fixed odds format has meant that there have had to be substantial changes in the game’s software, which has also enabled us to make the game’s technology web based and in doing so improve future flexibility and lessen technological barriers for operators seeking to offer the game in their clubs and venues.”
He added: “ It is great that we have continued to have the support of so many industry operators, including Gala, Mecca, Castle, Carlton, Beacon and many more independent operators, all of whom remain key to the game.”
The National Bingo Game will continue to be played twice a day: afternoon and evenings, with tickets priced at £1 for 2, or £2 for 5.
